Frequently Asked Questions

Q.) Is kickball a difficult sport that requires extreme athleticism to play?

A.) Not at all! This is a really inclusive sport! Anyone can participate and more importantly, have fun with their friends and classmates!

Q.) What does the schedule look like?

A.) Schedules aren’t finalized until all sign-ups are in, however we always try to keep them the same from year to year. (Grades are based upon the grade that you will be entering this coming school year.)

Instructional (Grades Pre-K - 2):Saturday mornings.

Rookie (Grades 3-4): 1 weeknight game, 1 weekend game

Minors (Grades 5-6): 1 weeknight game, 1 weekend game

Seniors (Grades 9-12): 1 weeknight game, 1 weekend game

Q.) But, what about my summer vacation plans?

A.) Don’t worry about missing a couple of games! This is meant to be a fun activity to get kids out of the house and remain active during the summer months! We plan on structuring teams large enough so that if people are away, it’s no biggie at all!

Q.) What kind of equipment is required?

A.) NOTHING! That’s the beauty of kickball! There’s really nothing needed other than the ball itself! It is recommended that you wear cleats, but not required.

Q.) What is the cost for registration?

A.) To encourage early sign-ups, there will be an “early-bird discount.” The regular registration fees are $85/player.

Q.) When does registration occur?

A.) Registration usually occurs during the month of May.

Q.) How old does my child have to be to start playing?

A.) We plan on structuring divisions based upon the upcoming year’s Grade level your child will be entering.

Q.) When does the season start/end?

A.) The season runs during the months of July and August.

Q.) How long do practices/games last?

A.) Practices and games are both about 1 ½ hours long. We will try and play 4 innings per game, but will set a time limit of 1 ½ hours.

Q.) Where are the games/practices played?
