Concussion Awareness

At the Southwick Rec Center, we take child safety very seriously.  As part of our continuous improvement, we are developing a concussion policy & created this concussion awareness section for your use.

Starting in 2025, all coaches involved with SRC youth sports will be required to complete the CDC youth sports concussion training program as part of their responsibilities as a coach.  Per our policy, any child suspected of being concussed will require a note of clearance from a health professional.
